Ancient Grecian Hairstyles for Never Cry Wolf
The Ancient greek women were known for their elegant curly hairstyles. For this show, we would like to see lots and lots of ringlets and fancy braids on the girls. Here are some suggestions of how we might style their hair.
The younger girls with long hair will wear their hair up in a pony tail with cascading ringlets. They might also have braided features. The key element is to have their hair preset with lots of curls (rag rolling works very well). If you do not know how to rag roll, here is a link to a tutorial.
Authentic Victorian Era rag-rolled ringlets
The older girls will either wear their hair in a ponytail with ringlets or a bun. We also have golden headbands to add some elegance. The girls with short hair will need to be more creative and have a modified up-do. Once again, we need to have them come to Hair and Make-up with pre-curled hair. It makes the hair do more workable.
