The message of this Musical is taken from the John Maxwell quote: "You can pay now and play later OR play now and pay later. Either way you have to pay." In the musical, the Grasshopper learns that if you wait to pay until later, the payment can be painful!
Setting: A flat painted to look like a large ant hill. Must be big enough to the ants to hide behind.
Props: Autumn leaves, oversized seeds or pods, Snowflakes, ukulele for Grasshopper
Costumes:
Ants - Black Tee shirt and leggings, colorful tutus for girls, colored gym shorts for boys, cape and crown for Queen ant, black pipe cleaner antennae attached to headbands, colorful shoes.
Grasshopper - Green shirt and pants, green hat with green pipe cleaner antennae, colorful shoes
