These two little shows work very well together.  They are both little fables from Aesop, and offer a dose of wisdom learned from the smallest of the small.  

​Hence, putting them together into one performance makes perfect sense.  Use the Opener "You Can Learn a Lot" with the entire cast to introduce the idea that the smallest creatures that we often overlook can be the means of teaching great lessons for our own lives.  Then, present the two shows one after the other.  At the end of "The Country Mouse and the City Mouse," bring the "Ants and the Grasshopper" cast back onto the stage for the Bows together and a singing of the Reprise of "You Can Learn a Lot" for the Finale.
